Inservice Training
PANOSH inservice training is a 2 hour session held at your service at a time that suits you and your educators. This session incorporates both Nutrition and Physical Activity aspects and includes:

Linking food and nutrition practices with the Service’s Nutrition Policy, National Quality Standards and Australian Dietary Guidelines;

Catering for special diets, reading food labels and promoting healthy eating;

Reviewing the service’s menu and planning for improvement;

Incorporating physical activity planning strategies; and
-
Reflecting on and linking physical activity to the practice and outcomes of My Time Our Place – Framework for School Age Care in Australia
E-learning
The PANOSH e-learning training session has been developed to provide educators with an understanding of the regulatory requirements in relation to food provision and food safety for Outside School Hours Care services in Queensland including:

Policy and procedure development

Food handling preparation and storage

Creating a positive eating environment
